Meet Dr. DeJesus

Ramon DeJesus, M.D., is the Chief of the Plastic Surgery Department at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He has training with complex reconstructions for Oncological, Trauma and Congenital conditions. Dr. DeJesus completed a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Johns Hopkins/University of Maryland and a Hand/Microsurgery Fellowship at UCSF/The Buncke Clinic. He also completed a Peripheral Nerve Surgery Fellowship at The Dellon Institute in Baltimore, MD, a surgical anatomy fellowship at University of Louisville, a Surgical Internship at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and a General Surgery Residency at Wellspan/York Hospital.

Dr. DeJesus continues to be part-time faculty at Johns Hopkins University. He also serves as a reservist at the USN Medical Corps where he performs surgery for service members and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and National Military Center Portsmouth.
