UltraClear® Laser
An exciting new technology
A groundbreaking advancement in laser skin resurfacing has emerged with the UltraClear® laser—the most significant innovation in this field in nearly 20 years! This revolutionary device enables skin resurfacing treatments with unprecedented speed, minimal discomfort (often requiring no anesthesia), and significantly shorter recovery times, all while achieving outstanding results. What sets it apart? The UltraClear® laser is considered a true “cold laser,” as it applies minimal heat to the skin, reducing both discomfort and healing time.
What can the UltraClear® Laser do?
The UltraClear® laser offers exceptional versatility, making it suitable for all skin types and a wide range of treatments.
Superficial 3DMIRACL® resurfacing
The 3DMIRACL® is a gentle, superficial laser treatment that’s quick enough to be considered a “lunchtime” procedure. It requires no anesthesia, and the entire face can typically be treated in 10 minutes or less. Following the treatment, the skin may appear pink for a day or two, but makeup can be applied the same day or the next. 3DMIRACL® enhances the skin’s natural glow while reducing fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, and improving overall texture. It is ideal for younger individuals or those with mild to moderate sun damage or signs of aging who seek noticeable skin rejuvenation with minimal discomfort and downtime. For optimal results, a series of 3 to 6 treatments spaced about six weeks apart is recommended.
Treatment of deeper lines and wrinkles and more advanced skin discoloration
For deeper lines, wrinkles, and more extensive skin damage caused by aging and environmental exposure, the UltraClear® laser can effectively remove damaged tissue while stimulating the production of fresh collagen and elastin—key components of healthy, youthful skin. Even with these more intensive treatments, patient comfort is maintained using only cold air for anesthesia. As expected, deeper treatments require a longer recovery period, typically around 5-10 days.
Treatment of unwanted scars
The UltraClear® laser is highly effective in treating a wide range of scars on the face and body, including those from trauma, surgery, acne, and burns. Scar treatment often involves a combination of medical, surgical, and laser therapies. Our team will provide personalized guidance on the best approach for your scars and the results you can expect from treatment.
Skin rejuvenation of the face
Traditional resurfacing lasers have primarily been limited to facial treatments due to the high risk of scarring and complications in other areas. However, the UltraClear® laser, with its minimal thermal injury, offers exceptional versatility and can safely be used on the neck, chest, arms, and other areas to enhance skin tone and texture. In many cases, treatments beyond the face can be performed alongside facial resurfacing. The UltraClear® laser is a groundbreaking, transformative technology that has revolutionized skin rejuvenation and scar treatment.
Please keep in mind that for some treatments and conditions skin prepping may be required 4-6 weeks prior with a tyrosinase inhibitor and Tretinoin.
Injectables
Neurotoxin injections help relax wrinkles caused by facial movement
The number one minimally invasive cosmetic procedure performed recently was an injection of neurotoxin. These medications are used to relax the wrinkles caused by facial movement, including glabellar lines (vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows), horizontal forehead lines, and skin wrinkles at the out edges of the eye referred to as “crow’s feet.” By selectively weakening the proper muscles, providers can eliminate the wrinkles without disturbing normal function.
Fillers
Restore lost volume
As a person ages, the volume of fat and soft tissue in the cheeks and midface decreases, often giving a sunken or hollow appearance. Sagging of tissue also emphasizes facial folds around the eyes, cheeks, and lips. To restore lost volume in the cheeks, temples, and nasolabial folds, fillers including hyaluronic acid fillers (Juvéderm, Restylane, Restylane Lyft), polylactic acid (Sculptra), and calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse) are often used. Various fillers can also be used to enhance the appearance of the aging or atrophic lips, by restoring or creating fullness.
Manufacturers have manipulated particle size (thickness) and crosslinked molecules to offer both normal and longer duration products, as well as recently adding lidocaine to some products to dramatically decrease the pain of injection. The procedures are performed in the office following the application of topical or local anesthetic and have the immediate volumizing effects with very minimal downtime.
The use of injectable facial fillers is one of the fastest growing areas in the field of cosmetic surgery. Significant advances in have been recently made, resulting in the production of safer, more predictable and longer lasting fillers. Talk to one of our doctors about your options.
Restylane®
Restylane® is dermal filler used to restore volume and fullness to moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Restylane® is a non-animal-based hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the human body, which means that allergic reactions are not a concern. The treatment is simple and convenient, can be administered without pre-testing, and offers almost instant results. Restylane® results are long-lasting, giving skin a more youthful appearance for six months or longer.
Restylane Lyft®
Restylane Lyft® restores volume and fullness to the skin correcting moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Made from a water-soluble substance called hyaluronic acid, Restylane Lyft® restores volume to your skin. This wrinkle treatment can help you look younger and more relaxed without surgery, with results that typically last from six to nine months.
Juvéderm® Injectable Gel
Juvéderm® Injectable Gel includes hyaluronic acid, a natural complex sugar that bolsters skin elasticity, providing a smooth and supple appearance. It improves your appearance by lifting and adding volume to the wrinkles and folds in the treatment area. Juvéderm® Injectable Gel may last from six to nine months.
Kybella®:
Double-Chin Treatments
If you’d like to diminish a “double chin,” Kybella® may be a smart option for you. This non-surgical option is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that destroys fat cells in the area under the chin to improve your profile.
Kybella treatment involves a series of multiple injections under the chin. Each session takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The exact number of treatments you’ll need can vary, depending on the number of fat cells you have under your chin and the goals you have for your profile.
